Our/your branded dog. The Elo® always comes from us. Your EZFG e. V.

The Elo® is a new breed developed from :

• The Eurasier (-> hence the E)

• The Old English Sheepdog (-> hence the L)

• The Chow Chow (-> hence the O)

The Japanese Spitz and the Pekingese were also later crossed into the breed (but are not reflected in the name). These additional crossings were necessary due to the small Elo breeding population.

Elo is a trademark registered with the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), so the official spelling is Elo®.
