The Elo® is a dog that gets along well with children, is alert but not overly vocal, non-aggressive, and has an appealing appearance.
It is not one of the breeds that critics classify as "torture breeding" and does not suffer from breed-specific diseases. Instead, it boasts a robust temperament and hereditary health.

Breeding Goals:
The primary breeding objectives are to develop a genetically healthy, instinctively secure breed that is child-friendly and alert, with excellent qualities as a companion, family, and social dog. Additionally, specific lines with particular traits should be developed for specialized training purposes, such as guide dogs for the blind and assistance dogs for people with disabilities. The first Elos have already proven themselves as excellent companion dogs.

General Appearance:
Coat: Two forms, both featuring a medium-length, easy-care coat:

• 1st Form: Smooth coat (short hair on the face and limbs; the coat is similar to that of the Eurasier).

• 2nd Form: Rough coat (the muzzle, head, and feet have slightly longer, partially wavy hair).

Size:

• Large Elo: 46 to 60 cm

• Small Elo: 35 to 45 cm
